The C3 Project - Communities Combating Cancer 

We are surrounded by 'Esthers'. As a legacy project and a tribute, ETCF’s first major project seeks to empower women and communities with the information, tools and support they need to detect,  prevent and fight cancer. We are focusing on cervical and breast cancer, two forms of the disease to which women in rural communities are most susceptible. We will also support the journeys of those currently living with cancer together with their caregivers.

C3 aims to prevent and alleviate the suffering caused by cervical and breast cancer in rural communities through outreach, screening, referrals and support. We project that 1,000 women will be reached in the life of the project.

Our sister project - Walking in their Shoes (WITS) supports C3 through social mobilization, livelihood support, policy and fundraising.
