Hello & Welcome;

We are a small relief and development organization that envisions a future where society’s most vulnerable are free from the burdens of disease and poverty.

We draw our inspiration from the life of my mother, Esther – whom we lost to cancer in 2002. The disease ravaged her body but not what she embodied – her love of family … her hospitality … her selflessness.

But this is not a sob story. It’s a story where pain becomes purpose. A story we’re inviting you to be part of.

The ETC Foundation is championing community approaches in disease reduction through preventative action. We are working with partners and volunteers to help prevent cancer in rural communities – by empowering the most vulnerable with information, tools and support to prevent, detect and fight cancer. We also help ease the burden associated with cancer treatment for the poorest in these communities.

Through the generosity of friends, family and strangers, we’ve raised over USD $ 3,800 since we started. Your gifts have gone towards equipment donations, including ergonomic chemotherapy chairs and an industrial-style vaccine refrigerator to a local hospital in my home state of Plateau, Nigeria. We’ve also supported chemo sessions for the most disadvantaged women and men and mobilized hundreds of volunteer hours without which our work wouldn’t be possible. Thank you!

We're far from done! In 2022, we've embarked on a very ambitious project to reach 1,000 rural women with cancer prevention services. Help us keep writing this story. Click on the photo BELOW to pitch in today.

Nelson Mandela once said:
"What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead."

I hope you can put your hand to plough and let’s make a difference in at least one life.

Thank you so much for giving.

Sincerely,
Sekyen Gang
